The Rockland Youth Empowerment Center (RYE) has been a cornerstone of support for Rockland County over the past 20 years, navigating immense challenges. The sharp rise in court orders, domestic violence, addiction and substance abuse has led to the expansion of our services to a seven-day-a-week operation, addressing these pressing needs through our four core programs.

Today, I am reaching out to ask for your continued support in transforming the lives of children and youth who are enduring immense hardship. RYE is one of the most established, efficient, and dedicated charitable mentoring organizations in Rockland County, and your generosity can make an incredible difference.

You might wonder, “What can my donation achieve?” The answer is: more than you can imagine. With your help, we can continue to address the urgent challenges faced by the children we serve, especially as they grapple with the devastating impacts of the opioid epidemic and domestic violence.

This past year alone, your contributions empowered us to facilitate nearly 2,000 visits between children and their absent parents through our Court-Ordered Visitation Program. These moments of connection are life-changing for families in crisis.

The growing desperation of the needy, the working poor and, struggling single parents—many juggling multiple low-paying jobs—is undeniable. Your support helps us provide a vital venue and resources for these families in our community, offering hope where it is often in short supply.

I urge you to be as generous as possible. By helping us meet the agency’s basic operational needs, you are also giving a child the precious gift of hope—something that can truly change their future.

We are deeply grateful to our community of supporters, and we hope you will join us in continuing this vital mission. As Winston Churchill so beautifully said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
